2011 Farrell Prize Events

On September 26 and 27, 2011, the Division of Sleep Medicine held its 9th annual Peter C. Farrell Prize in Sleep Medicine events, including the award of the 2011 Farrell Prize to Christian Guilleminault, MD, BioD, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Stanford School of Medicine, in honor of his outstanding lifetime contributions to the field of sleep.

Dr. Guilleminault gave a Special Presentation of Sleep Grand Rounds, "Children and Sleep Disordered Breathing from the 1970’s to 2011" at noon on September 26th. Dr. Guilleminault was awarded the 2011 Farrell Prize in Sleep Medicine at the Division of Sleep Medicine's 10th Annual Sleep and Health Benefit Dinner on September 27th, immediately following the Division of Sleep Medicine Annual Poster Session.
