Research Interests

My research interests include racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in sleep health, physical health, and mental health with specific foci in substance abuse and appetitive disorders. I am a licensed psychotherapist and certified yoga instructor. I use mixed methods research to better understand these disparities and to assess mind/body interventions to promote health and wellness among marginalized populations.

Currently, I am a research fellow with Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital conducting research aimed at adapting yoga and behavioral sleep interventions for use in low income communities.
