Research Interests

The prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea in 36-48 month old children with Down syndrome, its effect on development and behavior, the use of different metrics as predictive tools in this cohort, and the peri-operative risk in those children who undergo surgical intervention to treat this.

A head to head comparison of conventional lab based sleep studies with unattended polysomnography in children.

Implementation of a triage system to improve throughput and expedite care in children referred to different departments within Children’s Hospital Boston because of concerns about possible obstructive sleep apnea.
