Blue Light Boosts Daytime Performance

Give Blue Light the Green Light?Health Hub: The Brigham and Women's Hospital Health Blog- HMS DSM researchers who previously found that exposure to blue light at nighttime improves alertness and performance have reported that it directly and immediately improves alertness and performance during the daytime as well.
Senior investigator Steven Lockley, PhD noted that these findings open possibilities for using light to increase alertness and safety for daytime workers as well as night workers. The study was published in the February issue of Sleep.
