Young Investigator Research Forum 2012

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) announces its 4th offering of the Young Investigator Research Forum to be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 through Friday, April 13, 2012 at the NIH Natcher Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The Forum is designed to aid the career development of promising young investigators in clinical and translational sleep medicine research.

Travel and lodging expenses will be organized by the AASM for selected participants. To kick off the 2012 Young Investigator Research Forum, participants will attend an evening Roundtable event on Wednesday, April 11, 2011 that will include dinner and an opportunity to network with key NIH scientific and program officers. The remainder of the program will take place at the NIH Natcher Conference Center for didactic presentations, workshops, and small group sessions covering study design, presentation skills, grantsmanship, a mock grant review, and the mentor-mentee relationship.

The application process must be completed by Friday, December 2, 2011. Candidates must be AASM members to apply.
