Harvard Medicine: "Artificial Light Exposure Linked to Breast Cancer Risk"

Harvard Medicine reports that recent studies link exposure to artificial light with breast cancer risk. Citing research studies on blind women by research associate Erin Flynn-Evans and the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medicine suggests that women with no light perception had a more than 50 percent reduced risk of developing breast cancer compared to women with some light perception.
