NSF awards Pickwick fellowships to two Harvard researchers

The HMS Division of Sleep Medicine wishes to congratulate two of our junior researchers awarded Pickwick Postdoctral Fellowships.  From the March 6, 2007 'NSF Alert' newsletter:

The National Sleep Foundation (NSF) is pleased to announce the winners of 2007 NSF Pickwick Postdoctoral Sleep Fellowships.

    Susie Yim, MD - Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School
    Erin Hanlon, PhD - University of Wisconsin-Madison
    David Wood, PhD - Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School

The Pickwick Postdoctoral Sleep Research Fellowships enable young researchers to devote full-time professional effort to mentored research in sleep or sleep disorders. Candidates must have or receive an MD, DVM, PhD or DO and demonstrate evidence of aptitude for proficiency in research as well as an interest in pursuing a career in sleep research.
