Grant Writing Seminar

Presented by Vijay Kuchroo, PhD, Samuel L. Wasserstrom Professor of Neurology, Harvard Medical School, will discuss clear and effective grant-writing strategies.

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to understand the components of a successful grant application and good grant writing techniques and practices, know strategies for building a grant portfolio and the right time for junior faculty to apply for the different grant mechanisms, and understand criteria used by reviewers and the NIH to score grant applications. This seminar is one in the "Insights for Investigators Series". Lunch will be provided.

CME credit is available. The Harvard Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Harvard Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits(tm).
