CIMIT Forum on "The Science of Sleep"

April 27, 2010 4:00 pm -  6:00 pm

Dr. Robert Thomas, MD (introduced and moderated by J. Woodrow Weiss) will begin with a talk on the use of CO2 in sleep apnea treatment, followed by Dr. Leo Otterbein (introduced and moderated by Stella Kourembanas) around 5pm, who will discuss inhalation of medicinal gases targeting new pathways for the treatment of sepsis.

The forum is located at Brigham and Women's Hospital in the Shapiro Cardiovascular Center, Room 1010. The Center is located directly across the street from the hospital's main entrance at 70 Francis Street, and is open to all hospitals. Our format is generally a 20-25-minute talk with a 20-25-minute discussion with the audience, followed by the second presentation and discussion, then time out for refreshments and networking before the Forum adjourns at 6pm.
