Research Interests
My previous work has focused on the neural correlates of sleep oscillations in humans using functional neuroimaging (PET, fMRI). In particular, we have resorted to simultaneous EEG / fMRI recordings during NREM sleep to describe the brain structures involved in the generation of spindles and slow waves. I am now investigating the effects of sleep on the processing of external sensory information and consolidation of memory traces using multimodal approaches (behavior, electrophysiology, functional brain imaging).
