Research Interests

My primary research interest is to help better understand the interface between sleep and cognition in healthy people and patient populations: Many patients with sleep disorders show cognitive deficits and in turn many patients with neurocognitive disorders have sleep problems. I have a particular interest in unveiling  the relationship between sleep disorders and cognitive deficits in patients with Parkinson Disease - in hope that this  can serve as a basis to develop newer and better treatment approaches.
