Research Interests
Joseph Ronda has over 30 years of experience in the design of computer systems in medical research; 23 of these years were spent at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He has designed three unique facilities, each with fully automated, real-time data collection. Ten years ago he was the principal designer and project manager for the General Clinical Research Center’s Intensive Physiological Monitoring (IPM) Facility, which is the main experimental unit used by the Division of Sleep Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Mr. Ronda has also been a consultant to the hospital in the development of their Information Services network, and he has developed experimental software for two NASA life sciences missions (Neurolab and STS-95).
